Getting Started

 

If you would like the team at Solid Axis Health & Fitness Inc. to help you achieve your fitness goals here are the steps to follow.

Step 1 – Contact Us

Contact us for more information at (204) 792-8460 or info@solidaxis.com. If you are interested in our services and a Fitness Professional is available when you are for training sessions (our availability is limited), a date will be set for our first meeting (in person or over the phone).

Step 2 – First Meeting

Our first meeting is an opportunity answer questions to gather information about each other.  During the meeting some of the necessary paperwork is started if we both decide to proceed with a package of sessions.

Step 3 – Complete and Return Forms

The information that you supply by completing the forms is necessary so that a personalized program can be designed that is safe, effective, motivating and enjoyable.

Step 4 – Get Moving!

If you decide to purchase a package of sessions, regular session times will be set for all sessions in the package.  For example, we may decide that your regular session times will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00am.

The first session will be used to perform a fitness appraisal and gather more information to assess your current level of fitness.  During the subsequent sessions we will go through a personalized exercise program and you will be taught proper exercise technique.  You will also be presented with strategies to gradually improve your lifestyle outside of the sessions to help you reach your goals.

As you progress through the program and your fitness level improves, the program will be modified to make it more challenging. By committing to training sessions with a Fitness Professional you are more likely to adhere to an exercise program over time.  Supervision of your personalized exercise program by a Fitness Professional will also help to ensure that you follow and adhere to a safe and effective program.
