Personal Training Sessions

Body Composition

 

A variety of packages are offered to fit your schedule, budget and training needs.  Sessions are offered in 30, 45 and 60 minute lengths.  Training frequency, volume and consistency are all factors that can be correlated with the rate of improvement of your level of fitness.  The more sessions you have with an Fitness Professional, the more likely you are to reach your goals.

Take advantage of our Partner Training Sessions so that your partner/spouse/family member can participate in a supervised exercise program too.  Having the support of partner will help you stay on the path towards achieving your goals.  You can also take advantage of the lower per person rates that are associated with Partner sessions.

Often during partner sessions, one client exercises during the first session of the day while the second client exercises during the second session immediately after the first session.  This allows for one-on-one attention from the Fitness Professional for each client.

Included in a package of sessions:

  • Exercise at a convenient location of your choice within our service area.

  • Sessions last 30-60 minutes and may include cardiovascular training, strength/resistance training, stability training, flexibility training, lifestyle coaching and fitness appraisals.

  • Set times and dates for all future sessions in the package (48 hours notice is required for all cancellations. Refer to our Terms & Conditions/Policies & Procedures.

  • A documented personalized exercise program with diagrams and description of most exercises.  (Included only with a package of sessions.)

  • Communication between us and your Physician (or other Allied Health Professional i.e. physiotherapist, athletic therapist, etc...) with your permission.

  • During one-on-one training sessions, there is no overlap with other clients.  You have the undivided attention of the Fitness Professional.

  • Basic equipment is supplied free of charge (recommendations)

  • Guidance & supervision - proper exercise technique and safety

  • Lifestyle Coaching – motivation, goals, changing habits

  • Follow-up Fitness Appraisals – body composition (skinfolds, girths), aerobic fitness, musculoskeletal fitness, flexibility (performed during scheduled session time)

Rates are dependent on a number of factors including number of sessions purchased, length of session, location, number of clients in session, time of day, frequency, duration and preparation time.
